Patrick Porter lives behind Smiley's Laundromat in Denver, Colorado, for the time being.  He makes his living as a painter and musician and also writes novels and millions of poems that hide in his kitchen drawers like old sporks still in the cellophane.  He was born in Murfreesboro,Tennessee, where dogs die in the street aside SUNDROP cola machines.  He grew up in Bailey, Colorado, where he played surf guitar and hotwired tractors.  He also lived in New York for a number of years, where he worked as a parking lot guard at a movie theatre and threw rocks at the marquee all night, trying to knock off the letters.  Currently Patrick Porter is an old man before his time and wanders around Colfax wondering where he is, who he is, and who put him here, and why.  He is a triple Scorpio.  He watches Roseanne re-runs at 4 in the morning.  His finger in the babel tower is: myspace.com/patrickportermusic
